The Mustang Fastback is one of the most iconc, popular and recognisable classic cars in the world. None more so then the 1st generation (1964.5 to 1966), this car is a factory red car with a black interior. It was imported from New York so the underside has major corrosion. It will require all new chassis legs and complete floors. As well as door skins, rear quarters and tail light panel.

As usual with our restoration projects the car was fully stripped, catalogued and mounted to a heavy duty roll over jog to be blasted back to bare metal.

Once blasted the bodywork and panels were painted in 2k epoxy to ensure no further corrosion occured. The first job was to cut the floors out, and replace them with a complete front floor panel and rear boot (trunk) panel.

After that we moved on to replacing both complete rear wheel arches and rear quarter panels.
